I recently had work done on my driveway by yourselves, and I just wanted to say how impressed I was with the whole thing- To say it ran like clockwork would be an understatement! The squad turned up bang on 9am as promised, and were extremely professional through the whole job. I can honestly say that Barton Bros and Sons are one of the best out there and I will definitely be making recommendations to family and friends. I was extremely pleased with the work done to re-tarmac my drive. The team of men worked very hard and cheerfully despite the weather. It turned out to be one of the hottest days of the year. I have had a lot of compliments from passers by. I have no hesitation in recommending Barton Bros. The work was completed in good time and the place was left clean and tidy. Billy who came to give me the estimate was very pleasant . He explained to me exactly what they would do and they did it very well indeed. It’s a big drive, about 160 sq metres.

Together with my neighbour we decided to get our driveways done. With 180 square metres it was quite a size. I was surprised to be told it would take 3 days as I thought this was optimistic. How wrong was I as the job was finished in 2 days!! The team were absolutely brilliant. There were about 9 who were all professional, friendly, hard working, very efficient and everything was tidied up afterwards. Also no unattractive skip as all material was removed and collected on first day. The job was so good another neighbour got their drive done. I would highly recommend Billy, Sean and their team. They were quite simply fantastic

The communication with Billy during the quoting stage and before the job was started was excellent his team did a great job on my new patios. The guys turned up early and worked to minimise the disruption and even managed to finish the job earlier than expected as Billy had arranged plenty of workers to do the job I got a competitive price, good communication and an excellent finished job from Billy and his team with on minor issues added to the snagging list Overall I would recommend Barton Bros & Sons.

my driveway, back garden and the side of my house were all mono bloc’d. Good quote, didn’t pay a penny until it was finished. Great job, highly recommended. Really curtious, Billy and the team were great. Love my drive, garden everything just looks so nice. We had really bad drainage before, now it’s not a problem. It can rain everyday and we won’t be waterlogged. Fantastic, can’t recommend enough. Brilliant.

Just had a driveway completed by Billy and his team. Had a few quotes but Billy was among the cheapest, however, quality speaks for itself! Really pleased with the end result and Billy drafted in extra men to get the work wrapped up in between the breaks in the Scottish weather! Would definitely recommend.

The workmen turned up on time both days, they were courteous and kept possible bad language to minimal considering I live outside a school gates, from a distance the rough casting looks fine, however on closer inspection it could have been better, the finishing touchs(the extra mile) could have been better, over the piece it was an average job, their cleanliness at the end of the job again could of been better. I however would recommend them for the future

Job was done quickly and within the time agreed (1.5 days to prepare & lay a large driveway). Cost increased due to unexpected issue encountered with a drain cover, and ended up more than I had budgeted. Quality of work was excellent, and they cleaned up afterwards. If doing this again, I would recommend obtaining a permit for path alterations, if only to smooth off council-owned path edging blocks (and ideally drop kerbs if necessary) – we were refused permission without the permit.

We appointed Barton Bros & Sons to design/install a drainage system for our garden, to form turfed lawn areas and artificial grass play area, a block paved patio area and a tarmac drive with block pave border.
