Together with my neighbour we decided to get our driveways done. With 180 square metres it was quite a size. I was surprised to be told it would take 3 days as I thought this was optimistic. The workmen turned up on time both days, they were courteous and kept possible bad language to minimal considering I live outside a school gates, from a distance the rough casting looks fine, however on closer inspection it could have been better, the finishing touchs(the extra mile) could have been better, over the piece it was an average job, their cleanliness at the end of the job again could of been better. Job was done quickly and within the time agreed (1.5 days to prepare & lay a large driveway). Cost increased due to unexpected issue encountered with a drain cover, and ended up more than I had budgeted. Quality of work was excellent, and they cleaned up afterwards. If doing this again, I would recommend obtaining a permit for path alterations, if only to smooth off council-owned path edging blocks (and ideally drop kerbs if necessary) – we were refused permission without the permit.
